Join all the Fellowship of Christian Athlete Huddles and Youth Commission International Clubs in Cabarrus County for a Year End Celebration, sponsored by 3Sixty5 at Suite 5 in The Village (Hwy 29 in Concord, next to Big Lots). There is a skate park, basketball court, pool tables, iMacs, video games, and three enormous Wii screens. The Main Event experience begins at 6:30pm, on Wednesday.
Are you sick of wearing your uniform shirts? Well, we’ve got the solution for you. During the week of May 21-25 donate your unwanted clean uniform items to Clothes for Classmates. You can turn in your items during lunch or bring them to Ms. Smith’s classroom (311) during lunch. Your donation will qualify you for some days without having to wear your uniform shirt to school. 3 items equals 1 day of no uniform shirts and 6 items will get you 2 days off. All uniform appropriate shirts, belts, pants, shorts, and skirts will be accepted. Thanks for participating in Clothes for Classmates!
All rising juniors and seniors interested in joining LINK CREW, there will be a meeting on Thursday, May 24th and you may attend the 8:00 am or 3:30 pm meeting in room 311. If you cannot attend the meeting due to prior obligations, you must see Ms Smith or Ms Elliott. This is also a reminder to returning members that you must also attend he meeting.
Any student who has signed up to help with elementary school field days needs to meet briefly after school on Wednesday afternoon, May 30 immediately after school in Mr. Stirewalt's room (AG 120)

There will be an interest meeting for anyone interested in joining the cross country team next year. The cross country meeting will be held in the media center on Thursday May 24th right after school. If you are interested in running or would like more information on cross country, stop by the interest meeting and see what all the excitement is about. See Coach Landis in guidance if you have any questions.
Students, all books and other materials are due to the Media Center no later than Friday, May 25th.
For those students who wish to check out books over the summer, summer checkouts will start on Thursday, May 31st. Any student who has a clear record in the Media Center may checkout up to 10 books for summer reading.
It’s back by popular demand! The A. L. Brown High Media Center is having another Community Book Sale Tuesday, May 22th – Tues., May 29th from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Books for preschoolers through adults will be available. 40% of all sales will be used to buy new books for the ALBHS Media Center.

Concussion forms for all boys interested in soccer in the fall are now in Coach Stirewalt's room. Please get these before or immediately after school. If these are not turned in, you will not be allowed to participate in practice or matches.
